By accessing or using the Daoob website, mobile application, or AI tutoring services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are a student under the age of 18, you confirm that you have obtained parental or guardian consent to use Daoob.
Daoob is an educational platform powered by Artificial Intelligence. We provide:
Adaptive Tutoring: Conversational AI that explains academic concepts.
Content Processing (RAG): Tools to upload and analyze user-provided documents (PDFs, images, notes).
Generative Tools: Creation of quizzes, mind maps, and summaries.
AI Disclaimer: You acknowledge that Daoob uses large language models which may occasionally produce incorrect or misleading information ("hallucinations"). Daoob should be used as a study aid, not as the sole source of truth. Always verify critical information with your official curriculum books.
Registration: You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
Age Requirement: The Service is intended for high school students. Users under the age of majority in their jurisdiction (e.g., KSA) must have a parent or guardian review and accept these terms.
Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
Compute Credits: Daoob operates on a usage-based model using "Compute Credits." Tokens are consumed based on the computational complexity of your requests (e.g., generating a long exam consumes more tokens than a short chat response).
Purchases: Tokens can be acquired via monthly subscriptions or "Pay-as-you-go" packs.
Expiration: Unless stated otherwise in your specific plan, unused tokens in a monthly subscription do not roll over to the next month.
Refunds: All purchases of Compute Credits are final and non-refundable, except as required by applicable law.
Ownership: You retain ownership of any files, notes, or images you upload to Daoob ("User Content").
License: By uploading content, you grant Daoob a limited, non-exclusive license to process, vectorise, and store this content solely for the purpose of providing the tutoring service to you. We do not sell your personal study notes to third parties.
Prohibited Content: You may not upload content that is illegal, offensive, or violates the intellectual property rights of others.
Daoob is designed to help you learn, not to do your work for you.
No Cheating: You agree not to use Daoob to cheat on exams, generate essays to pass off as your own without attribution, or violate your school’s academic honor code.
Misuse: We reserve the right to suspend accounts found to be using the AI for academic dishonesty.
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
Daoob is provided on an "AS IS" basis.
We do not guarantee specific academic results (e.g., specific grades or passing exams).
We are not liable for any errors in the AI-generated content or for any data loss resulting from service interruptions.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Riyadh, KSA.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or a prominent notice on our dashboard.
