Vectorization: When you upload a book or note, we convert it into a mathematical format ("vectors") so the AI can search it. We do not use your private uploaded documents to train public AI models for other users. Your uploaded notes remain private to your account.
Personalization: We analyze your chat history to adapt the AI tutor’s personality and difficulty level to your specific needs.
Service Improvement: We may use anonymized, aggregated chat logs to refine our prompting strategies and improve the accuracy of our educational explanations.
We do not sell student data to advertisers. We only share data in the following strict circumstances:
Service Providers: With trusted cloud providers (e.g., hosting services, LLM API providers) who process data on our behalf under strict confidentiality agreements.
Legal Compliance: If required by law enforcement or to comply with regulations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia or your country of residence.
Parents/Guardians: For users under 18, linked parent accounts (if applicable) may view study progress and billing details.

Daoob is designed for high school students. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 13. Users between 13 and 18 should review this policy with a parent or guardian.
